The life and times of the residents of Maisonburger

We provide tangible help, fulfilling the here and now needs for these children and their families. The journey of autism and any other special needs diagnosis is life-long and often can be isolating. Furthermore, resources are hard to find and limited. Families often struggle to fit into the community. We created programs aimed at serving these children directly, for instance our art and music camps. Assistance in the form of scholarships, connections to the appropriate service providers, educational workshops and much more are offered by KultureCity.

Simple, sustainable bicycle transportation multiplies an individual’s efficiency. Compared to walking, bikes improve access to education, healthcare and economic opportunity. They increase carrying capacity and accessible travel distance while decreasing the time it takes to commute to schools, clinics and markets.

Worldbuilders is a charity founded by author Pat Rothfuss in order to use the collective power of readers, fellow authors and book lovers to make the world a better place. During the Worldbuilders fundraiser, Pat blogs about the cool book donations we receive from authors and publishers (and all the other cool swag from artists, webcomics, etc.) Everyone who donates to Heifer International through our Team Heifer page is eligible to receive one or more of those cool books and swag at the end of the fundraiser.

The Autism Society of Northwest Ohio is an affiliate of the Autism Society of America, the oldest and largest autism advocacy organization in the country. We provide support, education, and advocacy to individuals, parents, family members, and professionals affected by autism across the lifespan and the entire autism spectrum in 12 counties in Northwest Ohio.
